First Steel Column of Gansu Juhua Project Boiler #1 Successfully lifted
The first boiler steel frame of Gansu Juhua Project was safely lifted into place, marking the official start of Boiler #1 erection and the transition from pure civil works to parallel civil-and-mechanical construction.
Led by China United New Energy Engineering Design Institute as the EPC contractor, the project team prepared a detailed lifting plan, secured expert approval, aligned manpower and resources, and carried out comprehensive safety/technical briefings, ensuring the milestone lift was completed without incident. The success will accelerate follow-up work to guarantee on-time power generation.
The plant comprises two 410 t/h ultra-high-pressure CFB coal-fired boilers, one 100 t/h low-pressure gas-fired boiler and two B60 back-pressure steam-turbine sets. By coupling ultra-high-pressure parameters with back-pressure machines and operating coal-gas units in synergy, the complex maximises cascade energy use and provides firming capacity for the national advanced-materials industrial base.
