Depicting a new blueprint of “waste free city” and creating a green development ecosystem

The resource treatment of food waste is an important way to realize the sustainable green development of food waste. Recently, our company’s new energy engineering design and Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as “New Energy Institute”) has won the bid for the EPC project of comprehensive utilization of biogas in Xiangshan venous industrial park with excellent technical solutions and industry brand advantages, which is also the company’s first EPC project of kitchen perishable waste resources.

The project is located in Xiangshan domestic waste ecological recycling industrial park, with a construction scale of 100 tons of catering waste, 200 tons of kitchen waste, 120 tons of fecal waste and 600 tons of sewage per day. The project adopts the process of pretreatment + wet anaerobic fermentation + biogas purification + biogas power generation, which can convert the food, kitchen waste, feces and other wastes into valuable clean energy, and gradually realize the goal of “harmless, reduced and resourceful” treatment of urban domestic waste.

After the completion of the project, 15.12×104 tons of food waste and faeces waste can be disposed annually, which can fully meet the long-term demand of Xiangshan County for the disposal of food waste, kitchen waste, faeces and other municipal solid waste. The construction of environmental protection infrastructure in Xiangshan County will be further improved, and the standardized management and disposal capacity of Xiangshan County’s municipal solid waste will be greatly enhanced, so as to realize the resource utilization of waste and truly “turn waste into treasure” ””Turn harm into benefit”, purify the ecological environment, practice green life, and promote the construction of “waste free city”.

With the waste classification entering the new era of the fourteenth five year plan, the demand for wet waste resources such as catering waste and kitchen waste will increase significantly. As one of the earliest units in China to carry out the design of resource-based treatment projects for food waste and other perishable wastes, our new energy institute has been deeply engaged in the field of resource-based treatment of food waste, successfully completed a number of food waste resource-based projects, and its performance and industry influence have ranked in the forefront of general contractors of domestic food waste resource-based projects. In the first year of the 14th five year plan, the United New Energy Institute of China will continue to carry out research on the new energy industry in an all-round way, continuously promote the development of resource recycling, and actively respond to the call of the national green ecological civilization construction.
